Rick Davis 1948 ~ 2018
Rick Davis, a Utah native, died May 21, 2018 at his home in Arizona. He was born Dec. 7, 1948. One of Rick's most endearing attributes was his sense of humor and his ability to bring laughter into the lives of those around him; a quality for which he will long be remembered. He graduated from Olympus High School and went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. He was a co-founder and instrumental in establishing "Afterwords" and "The Dodo" restaurants in Salt Lake City, UT. Rick's most cherished moments were the birth of his son and his life in Island Park, ID. He is preceded in death by his parents Connie and Dick Davis, and his younger brother Kim. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Davis of Tempe, AZ. His sister and brother-in-law Pam and Willy Allen of Beverly Hills, CA. His step son and daughter, Cory and Stacey Alarotu, along with a host of friends who will dearly miss him. Rick adopted his parent's custom of feeding wild birds, please continue this tradition in his memory.
