09-11-2007 - Classmate Bryan Foulger passed away Sept. 8, 2007
Bryan R. Foulger 1948 ~ 2007 Bryan R. Foulger passed away peacefully at St. Mark's Hospital the morning of September 8, 2007 from a massive brain hemorrhage. He was born December 22, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Raymond E. and Mildred I. Foulger. Bryan was a dedicated and loving son, caring for our widowed mother for her last seven years. He gave of himself to helping with her needs as best he could. He was always willing to lend a listening ear and was a caring brother in that regard. He will be remembered and kept in our hearts always as our big brother, uncle, and friend He was a graduate of Olympus High School. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in New York State and was able to participate in the Hill Cumorah Pageant. After returning from his mission he went to work for a medical supply company which eventually became Owens and Miner and he was their warehouse foreman until 1994. Survived by his brother, Gene (Molly), Sandy, UT; sister, Valerie (James) Banta, Sandy, UT; nephews, Matt Foulger, Chris Banta (Ohio); nieces, Aimie Foulger, Kimberly (Chandler) Holbrook, Washington State. Also, eight great-nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held Wednesday September 12, 2007, 1 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 1750 East 3300 South. Friends and family may call Tuesday September 11, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, Salt Lake City, UT. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the ICU Nursing Staff for their tender care and also to the Pastoral Staff who's compassion and caring gave our family such comfort and peace during this difficult time. Also, to our cousin, Maureen Wheeler, who gave of her time to be of help to Bryan and to befriend him.
